The Mountain Zebra has much narrower stripes than other
zebras. They also tend to have a brown coloring in them
as well, while other zebras are usually just black and
white.
The Mountain Zebra makes its home
high up in the mountains and hilltops of South-west Africa.
They eat a variety of plant matter including fruits, grasses
and even the bark from trees.
Since 2004 there are now two seperate species of Mountain
Zebras called the Cape Mountain Zebra and the Hartmann's Mountain
Zebra.
