The little Long-Eared Hedgehog is much smaller than all its cousins, as well as faster. They have a small range, living primarily in Central Asia.

The Long-Eared Hedgehog is one of the smallest mammal species in the Erinaceidae family. When threatened, they attack their predators by jumping at them with their short spikes. The Long-Eared Hedgehog hibernates during the winter months, and nests in long grass during the warmer months.
