Firefish have yellow heads with
a white body fading to dark red at the rear. They
have a very friendly temperment, making them good
additions to reef aquariums.
Every Firefish has a specific
hole in the aquarium that it will run into and hide if it becomes
scared. These wholes are known as 'bolt-holes'. Their cheerful
personality and elegant coloring have made them very popular
with fish hobbyists.
They are not known to be aggressive towards other
fish species, however they are very aggressive with each other.
If you have a mated pair they will be able to coexist in an
aquarium.
